Aaron Sternhagen
Associate Attorney
Aaron Sternhagen is an Associate Attorney for the Watson IP Group, focusing mainly on domestic and international patent and trademark matters. Mr. Sternhagen represents clients in all aspects of patent drafting, prosecution, and enforcement before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and has experience advising corporate clients around the globe with regard to their international trademark portfolios. He additionally provides counsel relating to all areas of transactional IP law, both in the United States and abroad.
Mr. Sternhagen hold a law degree (JD) from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. He is admitted to practice law in the State of South Dakota, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Prior to joining the Watson IP Group, Mr. Sternhagen clerked for the 4th Judicial Circuit of South Dakota and held multiple engineering roles relating to semiconductor manufacturing, oil/gas transmission, and precious metals mining/processing.
